Make it easy (The Bridge)
This is the shortest of the 5 steps and likely the most important. This is where you seal the deal, make a commitment, get a commitment, or explore next steps.
Be prepared! If you use contracts, have a contract prepared, ready to be signed. If you accept credit cards, be prepared to process the credit card.
If you’re not making a sale, but you’re simply trying to help somebody out, help them make a commitment to themselves.
Do whatever it takes to make it smooth, simple, and easy to make a decision, complete a transaction.
Thank them! Remember to congratulate them on a good decision and reassure them that this is the beginning of a long and fruitful business relationship.
